On May 15, the offshore waters of San José del Cabo delivered solid striped marlin action at San Luis Bank. Daliken Sportfishing crews reported multiple hookups throughout the morning, with fish ranging from 90 to 120 pounds.
The best bites came between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM, using live caballito and trolled ballyhoo. Calm seas and clear skies made conditions ideal for spotting surface activity and tailing marlin. Our 32ft and 36ft boats had the highest catch ratios, thanks to their speed and extended range.
Clients enjoyed exciting fights and a couple of tag-and-release sessions. The striped marlin continue to dominate the offshore scene as water temperatures stabilize around 76°F (24.5°C).
