The honest answer

Every boat fishes the same way. Size is the only real difference.

Here is the truth most charter sites will not tell you: for the fishing itself, it does not matter which boat you pick. Every Daliken boat leaves from the same marina, runs to the same fishing grounds, uses the same techniques, targets the same fish, and is run by the same experienced local captains. A bigger boat does not catch more or better fish. What changes with size is two things only: how comfortable you are and how many people fit. So the real question is not which boat fishes best. It is which size fits your group and the comfort you want.

Same ocean, same fish, same captains

The fish do not know how big your boat is

A 23ft panga and a 48ft yacht can drop their lines on the same spot, on the same morning, and catch the same fish.

Every trip works off the same waters near San Jose del Cabo, inshore and offshore, and the captain reads the conditions to decide where to run and how to fish that day. The methods are the same across the fleet: trolling, live bait, and the setups our captains trust. The target species are the same too, depending on the season: marlin, tuna, dorado, and rooster. The skill that catches fish lives in the captain and crew, and that travels with every boat. So you are never choosing a boat that fishes "better." You are choosing how you want to spend the day on the water.

So what does change with size

Two things: comfort and capacity

As the boats get bigger, two things go up. First, comfort: more shade, a steadier ride when there is swell, and a clear step up in onboard facilities. Second, capacity: how many people fit comfortably for the day. Here is the comfort ladder, from the simplest to the most premium.

Toilet onboardSuper Panga 23ft and 26ft. Private, simple, and a real comfort bonus on a full morning.
Private enclosed bathroomHabanero 28ft. A step up in privacy and space for families and longer days.
Cabin and more roomAbamar 33ft. More space to move and a steadier platform for bigger groups.
Full air-conditioned cabinRiviera 43ft and Cabo 48ft. Premium comfort for VIP days and celebrations.

FAQ

Common questions about choosing a boat

Does a bigger boat catch more fish?
No. Every Daliken boat fishes the same waters with the same techniques and the same captains. A bigger boat changes your comfort and how many people fit, not how many fish you catch.
Are all your trips really private?
Yes, 100% private. Your group only. We never pair you with strangers. Every Daliken charter is a private boat booking.
Which boat is the safest no-regrets choice?
For most first-timers and families, the 26ft Super Panga is the sweet spot. It is stable, versatile, has shade, and a toilet onboard, and it works for everyone from beginners to casual anglers.
Do the Super Pangas really have toilets onboard?
Yes. Both the 23ft and 26ft Super Pangas have a toilet onboard. This is a real comfort advantage on a full morning, especially for families and mixed groups.
We want serious marlin or tuna action. Do we need a bigger boat?
Not for the fish. Every boat reaches the same grounds and fishes the same way. For a bigger group or a long full day, the Abamar 33ft simply gives more room and a steadier ride. The fishing itself is the same.
What is the difference between Riviera 43ft and Cabo 48ft?
Both are premium air-conditioned yachts for up to 9 guests. The Riviera 43ft is our most-requested luxury option. The Cabo 48ft is larger, with even more space and a flagship feel, ideal for corporate trips, bachelor parties, or celebrations.
How quickly can you confirm a booking?
Most bookings confirm within 1 to 2 hours via WhatsApp. For same-day or next-day trips, message us directly on WhatsApp for the fastest response.
Where do we meet?
All trips depart from Puerto Los Cabos Marina in San Jose del Cabo. After booking, we confirm the exact meeting point, timing, and any logistics you need.
