These policies apply to all Daliken reservations.
Standard policy: 50% deposit refund with 7+ days notice. Less than 7 days: deposit retained. High season (Oct–Dec): deposit retained 100% but you receive a credit voucher valid for 24 months. Fish processing: $2.5/lb. Hotel delivery: $20.
Payment Policy
- We accept USD cash.
- We also accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- A 5% service fee applies when paying the remaining balance by credit card.
- The deposit secures your boat and blocks the date exclusively for your group.
Standard Cancellations & Refunds
- 7+ days notice: 50% of deposit refunded (administrative + date-blocking costs apply).
- Less than 7 days: deposit retained in full (except unsafe weather or boat-related issues).
- Same-day cancellation or during the tour: full trip amount will be charged.
- If captain cancels (non-weather / non-mechanical): only time spent at sea is charged.
Rescheduling Policy
- One (1) reschedule is free if requested with 7+ days notice (subject to availability).
- Additional reschedules may require an administrative fee and depend on calendar availability.
- High season (Oct–Dec): reschedules are allowed, but the deposit remains protected under the high-season credit policy.
Optional Cancellation Protection (Add-On)
Add peace of mind to your reservation (optional).
- $50 USD added to your booking.
- Allows a one-time reschedule up to 48 hours before departure (subject to availability).
- If rescheduling is not possible, your deposit can be converted into a credit voucher valid for 24 months.
This option does not apply to port closures (those are always handled fairly under the weather policy).
High Season Policy (October – November – December)
- In Oct–Dec, deposits are retained 100% if the reservation is canceled.
- As a guest benefit, you will receive a credit voucher equal to the deposit amount.
- Voucher validity: 24 months.
- Credit can be transferred to family or friends.
Weather, Port Closure & Safety
- The final decision to depart is made by the Captain and Port Authority.
- If the port is officially closed, you may reschedule without penalty or receive a full deposit refund.
- Guest safety is always the #1 priority.
No-Show / Late Arrival
- Late arrival does not extend the trip duration.
- No-show results in the deposit and/or trip payment being non-refundable.
- If you’re running late, please message us as soon as possible.
Fish Cleaning & Processing
- Basic fish cleaning is complimentary (gratuity appreciated).
- Vacuum sealing & freezing: $2.5 USD per pound.
- Hotel delivery: $20 USD (or less if you prefer pickup).
- You can also pick up your processed fish directly at no extra charge.
Food & Beverages Onboard
- Included: water + ice.
- Guests may bring snacks, meals, beer, and beverages.
- No glass bottles (safety policy).
- 12 beers + sodas + extra water

- Cooler service ready on arrival
Alcohol, Conduct & Safety Policy
- Alcohol is allowed in moderation for adults of legal age.
- We do not allow glass bottles onboard for safety reasons.
- For safety, the Captain may limit alcohol consumption if conditions require it.
- We reserve the right to end the trip without refund if a guest becomes unsafe, aggressive, or puts the crew/boat at risk.
Private Transportation (Optional)
We can arrange safe private transportation at a better price than taxis. If you want this service, just send your hotel name.
- Cabo San Lucas: $90 USD round-trip
- San José Hotel Zone: $35 USD round-trip
- Tourist Corridor: $60 USD round-trip
